How do I get menu bar battery indicator back in 9.2?

My iBook came with 9.1 and had a nifty batter level indicator next to the time in the menu bar. I upgraded to 9.2 and it's now gone. I am not 100% sure that the upgrade was the cause, so please don't flame me if that is not the cause. I hadn't taken my iBook outside the house until weeks after the upgrade and that's when I first noticed it. I looked through the extensions manager and could not find anything related.

TIA

You can get the battery indicator back by going to the "Date & Time" control panel (yes I know, it makes no sense at all), click on the "Clock Options" button (still makes no sense), click on the "Show battery level" option in the right-hand section.

Hihi,

Open the date and time control panel and click the - clock options - tab. There is an option to turn the indicator on and off check that box accordingly :-)

Good luck

If you do this though classic (ie running OSX), the option is greyed out; this means you can't see battery level in OSX 10.1 when using classic apps (the old docklet is no more).

Anyone know how to enable this under Classic?
