MacBook Pro Battery Life

for the short times I've used it on battery the estimate of time remaining has been poor.

My MBP battery seems to be running out of juice more than it did and Coconut Battery monitor says it is now down to 54% capacity. At what point is it recommended to change the replace the battery. The machine itself is 16 months old.

The problem this evening was that I had very little time between the low battery warning and the machine going to sleep to protect the battery. This is what I recall happening with my 12" PBook and it rapidly got a lot worse from that point.

At the point where it pisses you off that it doesn't last long enough.

Could be worse. Sabs macbook doesn't bother with the warning at all and just cuts out (normally shutting down completely losing everything).

Getting close I think...

That's the point the PBook reached pretty quickly. I'll see how the rest of the week goes and if Scotsys have them in stock I think.
