MBP: Losing a percent of battery life every thirty-five seconds

it's one from the replacement programme a few months ago. Shouldn't be dead yet I wouldn't have thought.

I've tried re-calibrating as per http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.4/en/mh2339.html, but the battery life is just collapsing. It's set to Better Battery Life in Energy Saver too, with Airport switched off but Bluetooth switched on (and active - use of Bluetooth modem). However switching Bluetooth off doesn't seem to improve matters.

This battery isn't that old - it's one from the replacement programme a few months ago. Shouldn't be dead yet I wouldn't have thought. This is a CoreDuo 2Ghz machine, not one of the newer Core2Duos.

Any ideas? I'm about to go through the re-calibration process again just in case, but I don't think it's going to help.

Cheers, Ian
