Mouse Freezes on Wake

Unplugging the USB connector and then plugging it back in restores mouse movement but it's a pain in the butt.

About every third time my Mac (Mirrored Drive Door Dual 1G OSX.2.3) wakes from sleep, the mouse (Logitec Cordless Optical) is frozen. Tried plugging the mouse into the keyboard so the connection would be more easily accessed but then unplugging the mouse did not "fix" the problem. I had to unplug the keyboard instead which still means getting to the back of the computer. Any?

Each version of OS 10 has been better for me, with 10.2.6 fixing a nagging problem with classic not being able to launch a particular app. I would try updating your 10.2.3 to 10.2.6 to see if that helps.
