OSX 10.1: How to keep network awake when computer sleeps?

It looks like my dual processor G4 is shutting off its network when it goes to sleep. This wasn't a problem with my previous computer, since its SCSI card kept it awake.

Do I need to set sleep to "never" in the energy saver control panel, or should proper behavior be waking when a network connection attempt is made?

TIA,

Dan

Set system sleep to "never" and set the display sleep and hard drive sleep to whatever you like.
