Hi,
i have the following problem since approximately 2 weeks.
if my powerbook awakes, i can not start any programm. The programms which were running before my pb goes to sleep make no problems and keep working quite well.
only applications which i will start will not start. The icon starts bouncing in the dock, comes to a standstill, but i get no feedback from the application. (I get no Intreface to the app.)
in the "force quit"-list the app is listed.
after a restart i have no trouble starting the app. So a corrupt preferencesfile can not me the cause.
Does anybody has a solution for this problem? I am working on a Titanium PB G4, 10.3.8 all updates installed.

Powerbooks and OS 10.3.8 seem to have wake from sleep problems. I had similar issues with a PB and an early version of Jaguar. These problems are what keeps my PB on Jaguar. I would suggest reading already posted answers in Apple's discussion forums, or on MacFixIt, if you have an account there. I don't know of any solutions other than backtracking to an earlier version than 10.3.8. Not a very attractive solution, but other than waiting for Apple to fix the issue, I know of no other. Perhaps other posters at Apple or elsewhere might have a fix.
