Downgrading Power Manager

The steps below explain how to safely move from a newer to an older version of Power Manager. This process is called downgrading and is the opposite of the more common upgrading.

1. Export your schedule, using the menu item: Power Manager.app > File (menu) > Export Schedule…
2. Run the complete removal package
3. Restart your computer.
4. Download and install the older Power Manager
5. Import your schedule, using the menu item: Power Manager.app > File (menu) > Import Schedule…

In most cases, your exported schedule of events will work with older versions of Power Manager but this is not assured. Newer features and settings will not be available in older versions of Power Manager. Please check your schedule and events carefully after downgrading.
