Trouble Shooting

Remote relies of a range of other components and network settings to perform correctly. This reliance can sometimes lead to problems or unexpected behaviours. The following sections address potential problems and how to correct them.

Service Not Found

If Remote displays an alert saying the service or computer could not be found or resolved, this means a Bonjour advertised service is unavailable. Bonjour information can take a moment to update across the network. It is possible your Mac was available but has recently been powered off or put to sleep.
