macOS Releases, Previews, and Beta Versions

Will Power Manager work with a macOS beta or preview release? This page notes our advice and recommendations around macOS versions.

We aim to support Power Manager on the three latest major versions of macOS. See legacy for past versions and information.

We do not recommend running macOS previews or beta versions.

We do not actively support pre-release editions of macOS. We recommend that you wait for Apple to release the final version of macOS. Ideally, we suggest waiting for the first minor update to the latest macOS.

We recommend this because bugs are inevitable in any complex piece of software. If you use your Mac in a professional or critical manner, caution in upgrading is often rewarded.
