This major release introduces a new energy saving engine. In addition to extending Power Manager’s ability to reduce the energy consumption of the Mac, this release provides the ability to automate tasks and perform sequences of actions.
Power Manager 4 introduces new energy saving and automation capabilities to help more customers save more energy. This major release introduces remote management, the ability to run scripts and applications at a scheduled time, and the ability to sleep for defined periods.

Power Manager 4 is available in two editions: Standard and Professional.

For professional and enterprise customers, Power Manager Professional 4 offers remote management, an event editor, and the ability to create custom installers.

Power Manager is available today through the DssW web site for 39.95 EUR, and 299.95 EUR for Power Manager Professional.
Power Manager 4 is a paid upgrade from all previous versions. Customers who bought Power Manager 3 after 1 April 2010 will be sent a free licence via e-mail.
System requirements are Mac OS X 10.4 or later for Power Manager, and Mac OS X 10.6 for Power Manager Professional.
