DssW Activity Audit v1.1.1 - Journaling Your Application Use on Mac OS X
Hereford, UK - 23 November, 2011 - DssW, the leading developer of Mac energy saving software, today released Activity Audit v1.1.1 for Mac OS X. Activity Audit creates a journal of the applications used on a Mac.
This new release adds support for iCloud. In addition to supporting iCloud calendars, any editable calendar can now be used as the auditing calendar; previously only local calendars were supported.
“Our customers love Activity Audit. They really appreciate having a light weight tool that just works.” said Graham Miln, Director. “With iCloud support audit calendars can now be shared and viewed on the Internet with ease.”
Activity Audit creates calendar events as applications are launched and quit. These events create a complete audit trail showing users the applications they were using and when. The resulting calendar provides an intuitive visual insight into how a user’s Mac has been used.
Once started, the auditing process runs in the background and does not require Activity Audit to be left running. The audit is restricted to the user who started the process, and that user can opt to exclude specific applications or entire folders of applications. By default, Activity Audit excludes applications located in the System and Library folders.
