Power Manager 4.1.5 - Energy Saving Software for Mac OS X

Hereford, UK - 9 September, 2013 - DssW, the leading developer of Mac energy saving software, today announced the release of Power Manager and Power Manager Professional 4.1.5 for Mac OS X. This release adds new presentation scheduling tasks, Automator workflow tasks, and performance improvements.

Power Manager is an energy saving solution for Mac OS X. Power Manager enables users to create sophisticated energy saving schedules and to automate time-consuming tasks. Power Manager can power on a Mac, run a series of tasks, and power off the Mac without requiring any interaction.

“Power Manager 4.1.5 makes it easier to automate the playing of presentations and movies.” said Graham Miln, Director. “We have helped many customers use Power Manager to start and stop their presentations. The new tasks in this update dramatically simplify the steps involved.”

This release adds specialised tasks to start and stop Apple Keynote and Microsoft PowerPoint presentations as part of an automated schedule. There are also new tasks to schedule the starting and stopping of movies playing in fullscreen mode.

Power Manager 4.1.5 includes new tasks to make scheduling Automator workflows easier.

While previously possible, these tasks are now available through the Schedule Assistant. The Schedule Assistant provides step-by-step guides for completing otherwise complex tasks.

Other improvements include Notification Center support, better handling of external processes, and in-application crash reporting.
