I've downloaded and installed (well, Software Update has) Battery Update 1.1/. Thing is, the battery now only charges up to 95%. Not really a problem as such, but the additional 5% would be nice.
Any ideas what's going on here and how I can get my last 5%?
Thanks Jeremy (PowerBook G4, 10.2.8)

You may need to re-calibrate the battery. Charge as full as it will go, unplug, then keep using until it falls asleep through lack of power. Charge again until full and it should hit 100%.

Your battery may need calibrating. The instructions for this are in the welcome guide, but yes, I've lost mine too...
Simply unplug your PowerBook and use it until the battery runs out. It must completely run out, ie, wait until it actually shuts itself off. Ignore the "low battery" warnings.
Then, plug it in, and charge it. You should find the meter now goes to 100%.

Indeed. Curiously, having run the battery down completely and then recharged as suggested, it did in fact reach 100% but now, 24 hours on, it seems stuck at 94% again. Normal it is then.

Despite what others have said, this appears to be normal behaviour...

Which says: "When the battery level eventually drops below 95 percent, it will charge all the way to 100 percent."
Which is what others have said. That reference does however imply "don't worry about it - it's normal".
