My Girlfriend has 12 inch ibook G4 (1ghz) and all of a sudden the battery stopped taking a charge. It's only a few months old so, i can't image the it's dead. It was suggested to me that the power manager may need to be reset. Seeing as this model doesn't have a "reset power manager" button I'm not sure how it done? Anyone have any suggestions?

Go to Apple support and put "reset PMU" in the search box.

Go to http://home.earthlink.net/~strahm_s/manuals.html and d/l the iBook manual. PM reset should be covered.
