Make an update from 10.3.9 to 10.4.3 (DVD) and 10.4.7 (software update) then I got a Kernel Panic to enter in sleep: the screen turn black and the the kernel panic message is shown ("you need to resart you computer..." in several language).
Sawtooth, G4 400 mhz
Boot in single user. Reset Pram. Reset cuda. Restart from a newly installed 10.4.3. No change.
But if the mac is rebooted from the external firewire backup (10.3.9) sleep work correctly !
10.4.3 installed (from the same DVD) on Mini 1.25 mhz work correctly: no sleep problem. Is there anything wrong to install 10.4 on an old Sawtooth, G4 400 mhz ?
Any help will be appreciate.
Thank you.
