Any tips on where I might find an online retailer with a MacBook power adapter in stock please? I've tried Apple UK, Cancom, and several others that Google found for me, but they appear to be out of stock everywhere at the moment.
Thanks,
Mark.

There's nowhere specific that I know of but ebay is always worth a shot. It just depends how quickly they can get it to you compared with Apple who are obviously favourite.
Unless it's had an accident then you should surely be looking at Apple to replace it under guarantee...

Thanks. I'll take a look on ebay.

There's nothing wrong with the supplied one, except that it can't be in three places at once so that it is waiting for me when I forget to take it home / to work / out and about. :)
Cheers,
Mark.

In which case if you're in a hurry then Apple will probably be the fastest to supply a new one unless there is one that takes your fancy - probably a compatible - on ebay.

Apple are quoting 7 to 10 days at the moment, which I guess will have to do 'cos the nearest thing I can find on ebay is a MacBook Pro power adapter rather than a MacBook one. Looking at the Apple Store I think the Pro uses a different adapter from the MacBook.
Cheers,
Mark.

It does, the connector on the Pro is bigger.
