I have a new battery for my 12" Powerbook. Does it need any "conditioning" ? Charge up discharge - repeat whilst facing east etc.?
Or just slap in and get on with it ?
Thanks for any tips

I thought that an initial 'run flat and then recharge' was useful for calibrating the Mac's power meter, but otherwise not necessary.
