I'm having a strange problem with my TiBook and OS X. Whenever I put the system to sleep by closing it, and then reopen it, it seems to wake up partially (the DVD spins up), but nothing else happens. The display stays blank, and no keypresses or mouse motion will cause it to come back to life. The only fix I've found so far is ctrl-cmd-power, which reboots.
Anyone else having this problem?
I've got the TiBook 500 with 512 MB RAM, an external monitor & keyboard, and nothing non-Apple in my OS X install.

B. I'm not having any problems on my TiBook, but I also don't have an external monitor and keyboard. That could be your problem. Try disconnecting those and see what happens.

I have a similar problem, excepting that
- waking from sleep is always fine if the TiBook sleeps for less than an hour or so;
- sometimes (rarely) OK if sleep is a few hours;
- never OK overnight.
The battery is always adequate to reboot and run for a while after this sleep problem, so it's not that the battery is rundown during prolonged sleep.
Sleep in 9.1 works absolutely correctly.
G4 400 TiBook, 256 MB RAM, no external devices, Apple upgrade to 20 GB disk+airport.
