My daughter has one of the Indigo iBooks and it is failing to boot. It comes up with the ? and the folder icon so its not finding the hard disk. However, when trying to start from the CD (holding C down as we start) it fails there as well so my guess is that it can't find and disks at all. Is this likely to be an on-board battery (not the main power battery) issue or is it something more serious.
Any dieas?
regards
David

Difficult to decide. The on-board battery is for sure the thing I would try first.
