You folks were very helpful informing me how to reinstall OS X on my G4.
I was at 10.3.7 but was crashing a lot (mouse would freeze). I used the original 10.2 discs to archive/reinstall and then used the 10.3 discs to upgrade.
Everything seems to be fine, except, the light on the G4 does not have that slow "pulse" when it's put to sleep. Also, it does not sound like the fans or drives slow down like it did before.
Can anyone shed any light on the "pulsing light? Is there a way to test the sleep mode and be sure it is working or is there a way to fix this?
