I used to get a warning when my iBook battery was getting low, something like "if you do not connect to power, your computer will go to sleep in such-and-such minutes." Now it gives me no warning. What changed?
10.2.6 iceBook 600
Thanks! Rog

Try resetting the power manager (how to do this varies from model to model so head over to Apple and do a search if you aren't sure how to do this.)

Roger, did you possibly get a "false" warning, the message you quoted above, when waking from sleep?
I see this a lot... The "false" warning on wake from sleep when there is actually a lot of battery life left.
One side effect is that after a false warning, then when you really do run down the battery there is NO warning.
